Refund And Returns Policy

Your satisfaction is our #1 priority. Therefore, if you’d like to return an item bought from SmarterWomen.com you can do so for any reason.

Our returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

There are some types of goods that are exempt from being returned. We do not accept the return of products that are intimate or sanitary.

Additional non-returnable items:
- Some health and personal care items. 

If your item cannot be returned we will inform you when you contact our support team, and try to come up with an alternative solution. 

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
- Products with obvious signs of use
- Any item not in its original condition, or that is damaged or is missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If your return is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5 business days. 

Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your credit card statement or bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund from us yet, please contact us our support team here, and we will get to the bottom of it.

Exchanges
If you need to exchange and item, contact our support team here to confirm the reason for your exchange and get a "return code". This will help us look out for and keep track of your return. Once you have received your return code and confirmation that the item you want to receive in exchange is in stock, please send your item to the address listed below. Please include a note with your return code inside the package.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item, unless we have made a mistake and shipped you the wrong item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

If you are shipping an item over $50, please consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We obviously can’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item if it gets lost in the mail.
